Over 250 young adults attended Toast for a Cause in New York City on Friday, September 9, 2011.
Sponsored by the New Jersey Tri-County Scholarship Fund Young Professionals group, the event was their first in the city. Held at Studio 450, the event raised over $ 25,000.00 through ticket sales and a 50/50 raffle. Attendees enjoyed the outdoor rooftop garden with spectacular skyline views, a top shelf open bar, endless gourmet appetizers and DJ True Statement.
Recipients of the scholarship fund are New Jersey inner city children in need of financial aid to attend private and parochial K-12 schools for a better education. This past year 100% of the fund’s seniors graduated from high school and 96% of that group went straight to college.
